A graduate of Enterprise High School, Reynolds received an asso– ciate degree in nursing with highest honors at Meridian Junior College, a bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of Southern Mississippi and a master of science degree in medical-surgical nursing and teach– ing at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is certified in clinical hypnothei'(Jpy throught he American College of Biofeedback and Eurotherapy in Sannta Cruz, Calif., and has done posts graduate study at Mississippi State University, Universtty of the South, The Esalen Instiiute, London Intercollegiate Thea tre Experience, European Travel-Study Program and Saint Charles College. "My passion for enhancing the quality of life and level of wellness has taken me in many directions. I have studied, networded, shared with and learned from professionals all over the world," she said. "My prim– ary commitment now is to my stu- dents and work here locally." She has received many honors including being named to Who's Who in American Nursing, 1990-91, and Who's Who in American Educa– tion, 1994-95. In college she was a membcc of Phi Theta Kappa honor– ary fraternity. She is a member of St Paul's Episcopal Church in Meri– dian.

Kasandra Reynolds

Clarke County native Kasandra Reynolds has been named medical– surgical instructor for the associate degree nursing program at East Cen– ll'al Community College in Decatur, announced Dr. Eddie M. Smith, Col– legePresident. Reynolds previously served on the faculty at Meridian Community Col– lege for 15 years in various positions and the Matty Hersee School of Nursing in Meridian. She also has experience as a staff and charge nurse in the intensive care unit and as patient care coordinator at Rush Fbundation Hospital inMeridian and as a staff nurse in the progressive coronary unit at Riley Hospital in Meridian. Reynolds, who began her duties on August I, said "I am excited and enthusiastic about joining the dynamic faculty and staff here at East Cenlral. She is married to Anse Harold Reynolds and they reside in Rose Hill. They have two children, John Reynolds of Hattiesburg and Kristy Reynolds of Rose Hill. She is the daughter of Mary Hellen Askew of Enterprise.
