greater on all high school work attempted; (5) the recipient must not have a record of discipline problems; (6) the recipient must be from a household with combined family adjusted gross income of $20,000 to $30,(XX) as reported to the Iritelnal Revenue Service; (7) the recipient must submit a completed scholar– ship application form to the Deann of Students Office at ECCC; and (8) the recipient must have made appli– cation to ECCC to be enrolled as a fu ll-time student pursuing an academic, technical. or vocational program of study. The firSt annual Mississippi Farm Bureau scholarship to attend East Central Community College in De– catur was recently established and will be awarded beginning with the 1995 fall semester. To be considered to receive the $300 per semester award. various eligibility requirements must be met and include the following: (1) the recipient's family must hold a Farm Bureau membership in his/her resi– dent county; (2) the recipient must have graduated from a high school in the ECCC district or hold residence in a county of same district; (3) the recipient must have an American College Test {ACT) composite score of 14 or better; (4) the recipient must have an overall "C" average or

mittee. Recipients will receive a S300 per semester scholarship which can be applied tow~ tuition, fees, tex– tbooks or supplies needed for a particular program. The student must maintain full-time status, a 2.0 or better grade point average, and be free of disciplinary action to be re-awarded for the following semes– ter. The scholarship can be retained for a total of two years (four" semes– ters) for a maximum award of $1200. These scholarships are not available during summermonths.
