EC squads prior to competition in the MACJC South State Tourna– ment East Central hosts Jones Ju– nior College on February 6 and travels to Gulf Coast Community CollegeonFebruary 9. This year East Central will serve as host site for the South division tournament which is scheduled Fe– bruary 13-16 (Monday through Thursday) in teh Brackeen-Wood Ph>sical Education Building. Al– l.hough brackets will not be set until season competition concludes later this week. game times have been established. Both ECCC teams fell to division foe Pearl River Community College January 30 in Poplarville. The Lady Warriors lost 93-74 while the Warriors suffered an 85-72 setback. Robinson led the ECCC women with 25 points. Also scoring were Davis, 14; Moorehead, 9; Harber, 8; Vance and Wilma Cooksey, 6 each; Reed, 4; Griffin, Kim Gentry and Chasity Bounds, 2 each; and Ale– xander, I. PRC led 47-37 at halftime. Prince led EC with 27 points, followed by Suttles and Rasberry with 10 each; OJ. McNichols, 7; Eric Caples, 6; and Viverette., Nor– man and Vincent Spence, 4 each.
