Both tourna– ments run March 15-19. Blake, who scored 22 points, missed four crucial free throws in the last minute. CLINTON- Losing to Pearl River four times was as much as East Central's Lady Warriors could stand. So in their fifth meeting Thursday, for the Region 23 women's junior college champions hip, East Central came out a 66-62 winner. Even closer was the men's final with Bossier Parish (La.) pulling out an 82-81 win over Northwest when Phillip Kennedy made one of two free throws with 10 seconds left. Northwest got two chances before time ran out, but Sanchez Blake missed a jumper from the lane and Pat– rick Hailey a putback attempt.
