ATTEND ECCC CONFERENCE ·There students from Newton High School were among area high school student leaders who attended the first annual Leadership Conference held at East Central Community College In Decatur. Purpose of the confer– ence Is to recognize student leaders and provide them with lead– ership enhancement techniques. It Is also an opportunity for area high school students to meet various college ~rsonnel. Approxi– mately 35 students representing 10 district high schools partlcl· pated In the conference, which was sponsored by Theta XI chap– ter of Phi Theta Kappa and Studetn Services.
