Receives Honor. .. Vanessa McKee, a sophomore at East Central Community College, displays an award she won following participation in the State Post-Secondary Child Care competition held at Hinds Community College. McKee placed third in the science division for a bird feeder she designed using bird seed and hooey. A graduate of Newton Academy, she is the daughter of Paulette Reece and Jeff McKee of Newton.
