2-8 Season for ECCC Not Good Enough

In a surprise announcement Tues– day afternoon, East Central Com– munity College president Dr. Eddie Smith explained that the college would have a new lineup for its foot– ball staff next year. Dr. Smith announced that the head football coach Reese Bridgman and the full-time assistant coaches Tom– my Spillnian and Kehin Lyon turned in their resignationS to Dr. Smith. The resignations were

accepted and a search is already underway for replacements. The head coach position contract runs until June of 1995 and while Coach Bndgman will continue in his present position until that time, an announcement will be made by Janu- ary 10, 199 5 naming his replacement The two assistant positions will be filled at a later date. \
