ECCC honors Ovid Vickers Alumni Association officials at East Central Community College have announced the selection of outstanding instructors, alumni of the year, and new member of the college's Athletic Hall of Fame who will receive special recognition during Homecoming activities scheduled Saturday, Oct. 15 on the Decatur campus. "Southern Folklore" at 7:30 p.m. charge for admission and the public Friday, Oct. 14, in the Fine Arts is invited to attend this special pre– Center auditorium. There is no sentation.

Among those being honored is longtime English instructor Ovid Vickers. who plans to retire following the 1994-95 term.
