Working Together for Students.. . Representatives from East Central Com-· munity College and Newton Municipal Schools have combined efforts to form various articula– tion teams as a vital part of the Tech Prep Initiative, a relatively new program underway at East Central. T he purpose of the articulation component is to provide linkages between two or more educational systems which assist all students in making a smooth transition from one level to another without experiencing delays, duplication of course work or loss of credit. Several articulation teams bave been formed following meetings held on the Decatur campus. Those named to the Algebra team include (from left) Dr. Shelby Harris, ECCC; Susan Neal, Robert Kelly and Larry Gressett, representing Newton Schools; and Lois McMullan, l CCC. For more information contact Mrs. Maudean Sanders, Tech Prep Coordinator at ECCC, Pb. 635-2111, ext. 282. (EC Photo)
