Working Together for Students . . . RepresentaUves from East Central Com– munity College and Newton Municipal Schools have combined efforts to form various articula– tion teams as a vital part of the Tech Prep I nitiative, a relatively new program underway at East Central. The purpose of the articulation component is to provide linkages between two or more educational systems which assist all students in making a smooth transition from one level to another without experiencing delays, duplication of course work or loss of credit. Several articulation teams have been formed following meetings held on the Decatur campus. Those named to the Metal J.abrication team include (from left ) James Bayne , ECCC; Monroe Clark, Newton Schools; and Jimmy Dempsey, ECCC.
