Establishes ECCC Scholarship... Children of the late Fred Preston DaUas and Maudie Threatt Dallas of Philadelphia have established a memorial scholarship in honor of their parents which will be awarded to deserving students from Neshoba County to attend East Central Community CoUege in Decatur. Making the scholarship presentation to ECCC President Dr. Eddie M. Smith (fourth from left) are (from left) Edwin Dallas of Chamblee, Georgia; Mrs. Winifred Davis of Enterprise, Mrs. Maurine D. Sims of Meridtan, Mrs. Imogene D. Ritenburgh of Montgomery, Alabama; Mrs. Pauline CbadweU of Meridian, Mrs. Jo Hicks of Theodore, Alabama; Delmer W. Dallas of Jacksonville, Florida; and F. Paul Dallas of Fayet– teville, North Carolina. Family members have contributed a total of $13,500 to endow the scholar– ship which will assist deserving graduates of Neshoba Central High School who reside in the southeast quarter of Neshoba County.
