eelecln< c1; program otfered at Erilladelph1a-Neshoba County -cauonal Center is a two-year course of instruction designed to provide students with skills and knowledge necessary to enable them to be successful entry level employees. During this program of study, the teacher and his students become in– volved in a broad spectrum of elec– trical training, according to instructor Felix Knight. ·'Students benefit from this pro– gram by having an opportunity to select their career early in high school and thus proceed quicker through advanced individual train– ing", Knight said. The instructor said many employ– ment opportunities are available in the electricity-electronics field, in– cluding the military, private m– dustry, a nd in residential and industrial wiring. Students enrolled in the program include tenth, eleventh and twelfth

graders from Neshoba Central and Phialdelphia high schools who Will receive two and a half units at high school credit for each year in the program. Those who successfu I) complete their coursework will I>• awarded certificates of training. The electricial training program not only provides quality instruction but also attempts to develop the "total person," who is intellectual– ly, socially a nd emotionally prepared for this area of employment.
