ECCC AU-Star East Central Community Col– lege running back Sammie Holifield of Lake is one of six Warrior football team members selected to play in the annual Mississippi Community/Junior College All Star Classic sc-heduled Saturday, December 1, 1990 at Northeast Mississippi Communi– ty College in Booneville. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. in Kennum Stadium. Holifield led East Cen– tral in rushing with 872 yards in 143 carries, a 6.0-yard average. He has also been named second team All State. Other Warriors chosen to participate in the All Star Classic are defensive lineman Dynassus Buggs of Tuscaloosa, Alabama ; fullback Anthony Walker and linebacker Wyatt Williams, both of Demopolis, Alabama; punter Lamont Byrd of Carrolton, Georgia; and defensive back Felton Burroughs of Thomasville, Alabama.
