ECCC Economic Development Council Members of tbe East Central Community College Local Economic Development Council, an organization formed to help keep tbe college informed on economic development needs of business and industry located in the five-county dis trict, recently held their spring meeting on tbe college campus. During tbe meeting tbe council received an update concerning industrial training classes, entrepreneurial training, and new and expanding industry from Jim Hansford, the college 's in– dustrial coordinator; and heard remarks from Newton attorney Bill May concerning tbe efforts of the recently held Newton County Economic Development Summit.
