EC graduation Monday

Candidates for certificates include the following:

East Central Community College announces summer commencement exercises will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, August 14 in the Fine Arts Center auditorium. Dr. Brad Tucker, dean of instruction said there are 35 candidates for degrees and certificates. Serving as guest speaker for the graduation program will be the Rev. Gus Merritt, pastor of Clarke Venable Baptist Church in Decatur. Candidates for degrees in· elude the following: Leake County: Pamela Joy Green, AA, Walnut Grove (Sebastopol graduate); George Presley Tate, Jr., AS, Carthage (Leake Academy graduate).
