Math Seminar Winners At ECJC

Over tbo students representing 12 high ·schools participated in the seminar sponsored by the Mu Alpha Theta Club of ECJC. T hese included: Car– thage, Decatur, Edinburg, Forest, H ickory, Lake, Morton, Neshoba Central1 Newton. Philadelphia. Scott Central, and Union. A partial scholarship lo ECJC was awan~ed to the top three students.

Receiving top honors at the ~ixth annual East Central Junior College Math Seminar and Contest were: (I to r) Terry Matula of Neshoba Central– third place; Steve Shepherd of Morton and ram– my Kirkland of Neshoba Cemral-tied for se ond place; and Shern McMullan of Decatur-first place.
