Dr. Beverly Henry Oliphant

Alumni Of The Year Dr . Beverly Henry Oliphant will be honored during Homecoming festivities at East Central Junior College on Oc– tober 19. Dr. Oliphant has been chosen as EC's female "Alumni of the Year" . Presently she is an Internal Medicine Specialist with the Foreign Service Section of the U.S. State Department Medical Unit. She is responsible for the ambassadors and their families, for international injuries and for accompanying the Secretary of State around the world on all trips out of the country. She is an outstanding speaker and she uses that talent to lecture at the George Washington Medical School and to speak on medical topics in the capital area and around the world . Mrs. Oliphant is married to Frank Oliphant ~f the Williston community in Leake county. He is a physicist withthe U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. She has three children, ages 24, 16, and 14. The Alumni Association in– vites all former classmates, frien– ds and associates to come to the festivities and join in honoring Dr. Oliphant.
