Harriet Vickers Harriet Vickers will complete internship at East Central Dr. Eddie M. Smith, President, East Central Junior College in Decatur, has announced Miss Harriet Vickers will be working on campus the Spring Semester, completing an internship in Public Rela– tions as required by her graduate degree program at the University of Southern Mississippi . Miss Vickers, 22, will be working in the Office of Public Information under the supervision of Bubby Johnston, recently named Director of Public Infor– mation . .Miss Vickers, along with Johnston, began her duties January 5, 1987. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ovid Vickers of Decatur, Miss Vickers will complete her degree in the summer of 1987. Upon receiving her graduate degree, she plans to work in the field of school public relations. Miss Vickers received her undergraduate de~ree in Journalism at USM in the Spring;of 1986. At USM she was a Dean's List Scholar and she serv– ed as secretary of Sigma Delta Chi Jour– nalism fraternity and she worked on the Student Printz, the campus newspaper. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority.
