ECJC Warriors And Warriorettes The East Central Junior College Warriors and Warriorettes suffered defeats by Southwest Junior College as the teams met on the ECJC campus on Nov. 29. In the first game of the night, Southwest led at the half 34-25 and went on to defeat the Warriorettes 66-53. Leading East Central was Joy Eichelberger of Louisville with 25 points, · followed by Beverly Bowie of Lena with 8 points. High scorers for Southwest were Felser with 30 points, Pounds with 16 points, and Kaberlein with 10 points. In the men's game, Southwest again led at the half with a score of 40-31 and defeated the Warriors 75-69. I • E The East Central Junior College Warriorettes added two more wins and one loss to their record wUh victories over Holmes Junior ... College and Hinds Junior College and a loss to Utica Junior College. The Warriors were defeated by Holmes and Hinds but beat Utica. Jan. 18 the Warriorettes blasted Holmes with a 105-67 win. Joy Eichel er of Louisville put 'SI points on the board for ECJC followed by Karen Miller of Louisville with 22 points. In the Jan. 21 ~e ariainst Hinds, ECJC led 51-30 at the half and went on to win 90-83. Miller and Beverly 1 Chambers of Lena eaeh had 22 points. Eichelberger scoied 21.
