He also did the kickoff and extra point honors. Needless to say, he was knowlegeable of the game before arriving at ECJC. Another thing Porter is knowlegeable at is books. At Morton he had a 97 average. He attended many academic contests on ECJC's campus. His major is Petroleum Engineering, not one of your run-of-the-mill majors. When asked what he did in his spare time he said, "what spare time." He is taking 17 hours and it's all he can do to go to class and pratice. While not hitting the books or other players he enjoys hunting and three wheeling. Porter had a few people wanting him to attend ECJC, h' ister for one, and his high school coaching staff for a ler. DECATUR - Carl Porter is listed on the East Central Junior College football team a s playing tight end. For the present forget that.
