ECJC Warriors scratched by PRJC East Central Junior College lost a hard fought defensive battle to Pearl River Junior College as the Warriors were unable to take advantage of a scoring opportunity late in the ballgame. Trailing by seven .points with just over five minutes to play, ECJC had the ball with first-and goal scoring strike. Joey Tatum's PAT made the score 7-0 with 6:20 remain- ing in the half. The Warriors came right back and on the first play follow- ing the kick-off, Marvin Pearson ran 75 yards for the score. Verandel Irons kicked the PAT to tie the score a t 7-7 with 5:58 remaining.
