Penny James receives ECJC 2-year scholarship

include sophomore vice– president and junior class president in addition to being a member of the annual staff and paper staff. Active in varsity basketball for four years, she received the 1981-82 Hustle Award and was All Conference 1982-83. A member of the cheer– leader squad for four years, she served as captain her senior year. Named to Who's Who Among American High School Students during her senior year and selected as a senior homecoming maid, she was selected Most De– pendable Senior and Best School Spirit in the annual Who's Who elections. ••Q••

Penny Renea James, a senior at Beulah Hubbard High School and the daugh– ter of Mr. and Mrs. George R. James of Little Rock, has been awarded a full tuition scholarship at East Central Junior College. East Central makes this scholarship avail– able to the valedictorian of each high school in the district. ·' The scholarship would amount to 5780.00 for four semesters provided the stu– dent maintains a B average. At Beulah Hubbard Penny was a four year member of the Beta Club and the Library Club and served as secretary and vice-president, respectively. Other offices ..
