Hight, the 1977-78 Miss East Central Junior College. The young men were judged in evening gown competetion and talent. The judges made their decision on t h e Audiences applause. Ticket person- nel and ushers were members of the Home Economics Club. The Drama Club was in charge of the techinal equipment and lighting. According to Robin Hamrick, Home Economics Club President, the pageant was a great success and the members are looking forward to sponsoring the pageant again next year.

The "Mess" East Central Junior ollege pageant sponsored by the f Home Economics Club recently held its annual pageant on the ECJC i j campus. Crowned as the 1978-79 t "Mess" ECJC was John Harrison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Harrison of Forest. Crowning the winner was last years title holder Mike Land. Mike is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Land of Louisville. Mr. Harrison will receive a free haircut, facial, and manicure from t h e Cosmetology Department. Selected as "Messes" were Mark Bishop,

son of Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Bishop of Sebastopol; Ken Hackman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hackman of Decatur; Daniel Amis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edsel Amis of Decatur; and Geedie Simmons, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Simmons of Louisville. Judging the ten contestants were the winners of the Miss East Central Junior. College Scholarshop Pag- eant. They were: Evelyn Pierce, Pam Hatcher, Pam Sinclair, and Tamara Sammons. Filling in for Cheryl Gibbon, who was away with the basketball team. was "Dink"
