The building was built in 1930 for an estimated cost of $33,505.00. The building has never undergone complete renovation although it has been painted and necessary repairs made over the years. The Mabry Memorial Cafeteria was designed by Charles P. McMullan and Associates of Jackson and built by Thompson and Yeager of the Raleigh in 1964, for the amount of $106,746.00 The dining area of
