Miss Knight To Reign As

EC May Queen May Day activities will be held on the campus of East Central Junior College. at Decatur on Thursday, May 3. Festivities will begin at six o'clock p.m. in the old gym– n1sium. A twenty-minute 1'"ogram of entertain111ent will ~ be given by the members of the ~ Freshmen class women's I Physical Education students. i Under the direction of Miss ' Lucille Wood, the students will i present a children's orientated I type program entitled "Alice j In Wonderland". Reigning as this year's May [ Queen is Miss Bobbie Gaile Knight, daughter of Mrs. 1 .Odean Knight of Homewood. Members of her court include Debbie Bagwell of Louisville, Donna Smith of Philadelphia, 1 Frances Carrol of Morton, and Rhonda Yarbrough, Lucy McDonald, and Pattis Davis, all of Newton. Also to be presented during the May Day festivities will be Mr. and Miss ECJC and members of the Who's Who, the top four beauties and East Central's representative in the Miss Mississippi Pageant, Class Favorites, and members of the Hall of Fame. ~ The public is cordially in– vited to attend.
