Debut Tom Sawyer makes his BRL1 debut as the Duke of Norfolk, and Emery Hollier portrays Thomas Boleyn. Hollier is a t w o-time awa.rd winner foi; BRLT, having last captured Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Uncle Louis in "The Happy Time. " Sir Thomas More, who was executed for opposing Henry, will be played by James T. Nardin. He last appeared be– fore BRLT audiences in "A Case of Libel." Henry Norris will be portrayed by Jay Bel– anger, a newcomer to Baton R o u g e with ten years ex– perience both as director and actor with the Houma and Thibodeaux little theaters. Jack Smith marks another BRLT de– but playing the role of Mark Smeaton. Becky Ann Coats, who was last seen in "Enter Laughing," plays Jane Seymour, and Nan– cy Litton, who has appeared in several BRLT summer musi– cals, will be seen in the role of Madge Shelton. Judy Delaune debuts for BRLT with her por– trayal of Mary Boleyn, but she h a s h a d considerable ex– perience in LSU dinner theater productions. Returns -:- William Harris returns to BRLT after an absence of - many years, playing Bishop Fisher, and James Elkin, who · has been in. many BRLT pro– ductions, wilJ be seen as John \ , Houghton. Burtis G. Casler and Joe · Poche will portray servants, while J. Douglas Malley, Rich-_ ard J . Hayward and John De- , Rossett will be court musicians. Rounding out the extensive cast are James David Coco, Jim Hall and Keven Shaw as Choir– boys. Anderson has taken the ten years in which Henry VIII w o o e d and finally married Anne Boleyn, his second queen, and brought a whole tem– pestuous epoch into focus in · this drama, set against the rich and tragic tapestry of the Tu– dor Court of the frustrated Hen– r y . Innocent people were . crushed, ministers toppled, and the whole country ~ethed with a>o~-.
