Off-campus centers now operate in Forest, Carthage, Louisville, Philadelphia, and at the Choctaw Indian Reser– vation at Pearl River. Man– power and C.E.T.A. programs are offered at Carthage and Louisville. The college also has in-plant training pro– grams and start-up programs in relation to the area's industries. Adult education and indi– vidual improvement courses have also been added in the past decade. In individual improvement classes, no col– lege credit is given, but students are given a way to improve their lives or enrich their range of activities. · Flow~r arra·nging, cake decorating, and mini mechanics are a few of the individual improvements classes now offered at ECJC. The list goes on. East Central continues to be a growing part of the five– county district. As more and more people realize the benefits derived from a college . ecucation, .ECJC .promises to play an eveil more vital role in the future of this area.
