ECJC Vocational Counselor post- ' John Chandler ~dcock, Jr. of Cleveland, Miss. will assume the position of Coun- selor for the Vocational- Technical Center at East Central Junior College, effec- tive January 2. The announcement Was made by ECJC President Dr, Charles Wright and Vocatipnal Co-ordinator O.L. Newell. Adcock is a graduate of Nanih Waiya High School, East Central Junior College, University of Southern Miss- issippi, and Delta State College. While a student at Nanih Waiya, Adcock served as Junior and Senior Class President and captain oftbe f a a l l team. His senibr year he was presented ' 'm award for "bringing favor- able recognition" to his school. Adcock received a Bache- lor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education from Southern. Upon Com- pletion of a Master of Edu- caticm degree in Counseling arnd Guidance from Delta w e in 1972, Adcock served at the Mississippi State Pmitentiary at Parchman. .
