MOST BEAUTIFUL Evelyn Pierce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs . James H. Pierce of Newton was crowned Most Beautiful at the Miss East Central Junior College Scholar– ship Pageant on Feb. 9. Evelyn received a 1500 scholarship to college of her choice . Miss Pierce will represent ECJ C in the Miss Mississippi Pageant this summer in Vicksburg. ~
FIRST RUNNER-UP Cheryl Gibbon , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy B. Gibbon of Hickory was selected as first runner-up at the Miss ECJ C Scholarship Pageant on Feb. 9. Cheryl received a $100 scholar– ship to the college of her choice. Cheryl was selected from among twenty-two young ladies whom all gave outstand– ing performances.

ECJC BEAUTY Lisa Haralson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Billy E. Haralson of Conehatta was selected as one of the beauties at the Miss ECJ C Scholarship Pageant on Feb. 9 . Other beauties selected were Tamara Sammons of Louisville and Pam Hatcher of Louisville Kim Seepe of Clinton was chosen by her fellow contes– tants as Miss Congeniality.
