ECCC welcomes Simoneau as Director of Alumni Relations and the Foundation Greetings East Central Alumni! I am grateful and excited to have started my journey at East Central Community College in August as the Director of Alumni Relations and the Foundation. As alumni, I trust East Central has also influenced your lives and I hope you will give back to your college so that we can change the lives of those students here now and those who enroll in the years to come.

I would like to begin by briefly introducing myself. I am a native of Starkville, where I graduated from Starkville High School. I later continued my education at Mississippi Uni versity for Women earning both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Upon graduation, I had the opportunity to work as the Assistant Director of Student Life at MUW. In October 2017 I married my college sweetheart and settled down in Louin. After relocating to Louin, I went to work for Laurel Mercantile and was later promoted to the Customer Service/ Fulfillment Coordinator. I have officially been at East Central for four months now. The support I have received from faculty, staff, students, and alumni has been amazing. I look forward to meeting with and working with many more alumni in the future. I am fortunate to have a long family history of East Central graduates; from my husband to my parents, and my grandmother, each one telling stories of their time at East Central and how much they enjoyed it and how much it influenced their lives.
