Policy Title: SERVICE ON COLLEGE COUNCILS/COMMITTEES

All full-time faculty members, administrators, and professional staff are assigned to at least one college council/committee during the school year. Committee assignments are dispersed among full-time employees giving due consideration to expertise in the subject of the committee and representation of the various teaching and service areas at the college. No attempt is made to equalize the committee work of all teaching faculty, but every effort is made to prevent excessive committee assignments that might interfere with teaching.
