G.5 HEALTHCARE-ADVANCED SKILLS TRAINER

General Statement of the Function: The Grant-funded Healthcare-Advanced Skills Trainer will conduct Healthcare training sessions at training lab locations throughout the ECCC district. The offerings include CNA certification training sessions, customized classes to address employer demanded ‘super technician’ upgrade offerings, and PN/ADN upgrade coursework. The position will coordinate delivery of assessment and training classes at approved settings across the ECCC district (grant target counties include: Neshoba, Newton, and Scott.) 1. Setup of CNA training facilities, resources, and equipment. 2. Structure the specifics for delivering CNA instructional/clinical sessions. 3. Schedule healthcare training sessions at approved facilities. 4. Meet with established/prospective customers to identify needs and assure satisfaction. 5. Coordinate with Marketing Specialist to promote healthcare offerings/services. 6. Engage WIN Center officials/WF Coordinators to assure grant and State compliance. 7. Assist Navigators with grant required documentation for all trainees served, and 8. Fulfill other duties as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities :
