E.15 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – WFD/ ITT CENTER

General Statement of the Function : The Workforce Development Administrative Assistant is housed at the Integrated Technologies Training Center in Philadelphia. The position reports directly to the Director of Workforce Development and is responsible for the entry/management of workforce data and performance of administrative assistant services for the Workforce Development Staff at the Center. Database experience is required for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Perform general office duties as assigned by the Workforce Development Director and the Workforce Development training staff at the ITT Center; 2. Assist with the collection, entry, and management of Workforce Education data using the College database system; 3. Serve as a receptionist for ITTC customers; 4. Communicate Workforce Development information to inquirers accessing the Center; 5. Assist with setups for hosting training sessions, workshops, and seminars at the ITT Center; 6. Maintain data for Workforce Development trainees and sessions; 7. Prepare correspondence as directed by the Workforce staff; 8. Prepare certificates for completers of Workforce offerings; 9. Perform record keeping functions for the Workforce Development Center; 10. Coordinate communication with employees within the ITT Center and the Workforce Development Center; 11. Process and maintain documentation through the College network; 12. Prepare, compile, produce, and submit reports from the College database; 13. Utilize the computer for daily entry and retrieval of information relative to Workforce Development activities; 14. Other duties as assigned.
