E.9 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF THE PHILADELPHIA-NESHOBA COUNTY CAREER/TECHNICAL CENTER General Statement of the Function : To serve as the administrative assistant in the Office of the Director of the Philadelphia-Neshoba County Career/Technical Center and perform those duties and functions normally associated with an administrative assistant position. These general duties and functions will include office duties such as typing, filing, computer operations, data collection, purchase order preparation, inventory control, etc. 1. Process work requests for the Center; 2. Maintain the Center’s inventory records; 3. Prepare purchase order requests; 4. Assist with leave requests for PNCCTC employees; 5. Process time card for security guard; 6. Monitor, distribute, and maintain records for incoming parcels and mail; 7. Process all invoices and communicate with the College’s Business Office when needed; 8. Assist with the production of the Faculty and Student Handbooks; Duties and Responsibilities :

9. Maintain the files for the center; 10. Maintain student discipline files;

11. Answer the telephone; 12. Schedule appointments;

13. Assist with the set-up of evening credit and non-credit adult classes at the center; 14. Communicate with the three feeder schools daily concerning absentees and other issues; 15. Make daily announcements; 16. Assist students and others with walk in requests; 16. Other duties as assigned.
