WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT - ADVANCED SKILLS TRAINER

General Statement of the Function : The Workforce Development - Advanced Skills Trainer(s) is responsible for working with individuals, industries, businesses, and communities across the College district to establish needed training programs and offer special services available as coordinated by the ECCC Workforce Development Center staff. The Workforce Development – Advanced Skills Trainer(s) is supervised by the Director of Workforce Development.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Serve as contact person for ECCC in each Career/Advancement Center facility; 2. Schedule and coordinate use of each Career Advancement Center facility; 3. Develop/deliver various topic-specific, non-credit, training classes/programs; 4. Target services and training sessions for incumbent workers and WIA Dislocated Workers; 5. Meet with prospective employer/trainee customers to identify needs and assure satisfaction; 6. Write, manage, and implement grant(s) for the College. 7. Coordinate with Workforce Development personnel to arrange/promote services within each facility. 8. Coordinate with Workforce Development personnel to arrange/promote services within each facility; 9. Assure that facility resources/equipment are properly set up, functional, and well-maintained;

10. Provide necessary documentation for all work-related activities; 11. Perform other duties as assigned by East Central Community College.
