D.28 ELEARNING COORDINATOR

General Statement of the Function: The eLearning Coordinator is responsible for supporting eLearning operations, test center oversight, and instructional technology services for the College. The eLearning Coordinator reports to the Director of eLearning Education.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Collaborate with the Director of eLearning to assess faculty and staff needs regarding instructional design and technological support and implement appropriate measures to address those needs; 2. Coordinate faculty development in the areas of instructional practices, design and assessment methods, and emerging technologies; 3. Collaborate with Deans/Directors/Division Chairs to ensure cohesion of instruction and assessment methods in traditional, hybrid, and online courses; 4. Collaborate with departments, divisions, and individuals to support the integration of technology in instructional processes; 5. Manage the processing of MSVCC enrollments; 6. Attend MSVCC meetings and serve on sub-committees; 7. Oversee and support the daily operations of the eLearning Testing Center and the proctoring of all online testing; 8. Maintain and monitor the eFaculty courses used each term for MSVCC Faculty monitoring and communication; 9. Maintain a current working knowledge of technologies used to support and deliver instruction; 10. Assist in the evaluation of eLearning courses and faculty; 11. Work with Director of eLearning and the eLearning Committee in implementing and monitoring standards for teaching online classes; 12. Assist with basic technical support for students; 13. Assist with the creation, maintenance, and communication of departmental records, reports, policies, procedures and guidelines for the operation of eLearning Education; 14. Assist with the responsibilities associated with Dual Credit; 15. Perform other duties as assigned.
