Policy Title: COMMITTEES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Board may establish such committees as it deems necessary to secure, promote, and protect the institution’s welfare. The Chairman shall appoint the members of all committees. If the board in a meeting authorizes a committee to act on a matter referred to it, the chairman of the committee shall report to the full board at its next regular meeting advising it of the action taken. This committee action shall be reported as a recommendation for consideration and action by the board. The President of the College shall serve ex-officio without voting privileges on all committees and shall in cooperation with the committee chairman notify all committee members of a time and place of all meetings.
