26. Assigns faculty offices and approves office schedules within the division; 27. Reviews and approves purchase orders, work orders, and travel requests for the division; 28. Chairs and organizes the Screening and Selection Committee for recommending new employees with the division and forwards the recommendations to the Vice President for Instruction; 29. Promotes and collaborates with faculty on recruitment, advising, and retention of students; 30. Conferences with students on academic and clinical needs or issues as needed or requested; 31. Reviews and approves substitutions in student degree plans; 32. Serves in the review process of student appeals to assure due process is upheld; 33. Collaborates with faculty on selection of advisory and community committee members; 34. Represents the College at state meetings, conferences, and workshops; 35. Researches opportunities and submits grants to promote community needs and College healthcare education programs; 36. Formalizes clinical education agreements, contracts, and/or memorandums of understanding with clinical agencies for faculty and student learning experiences; 37. Supports ongoing relationships with community affiliate agencies to build relationships and collaborate in response to community needs; 38. Participates in professional and community service activities; 39. Maintains responsibility for program equipment maintenance, transfer, and disposal; 40. Participates in divisional, departmental, College, and community activities as required; 41. Performs other duties assigned by the President or Vice President for Instruction.
