This Staff Salary Record is not a contract of employment, rather it is a record for bookkeeping and reporting purposes only for the employment of «fullname» , herein after called “the Employee , ” by East Central Community College, herein after called “the College.” The Employee accepts employment with the College under the following conditions: o The Employee agrees and understands that this employment is “at will” and may be terminated by the College at any time provided the basis for termination is not prohibited by federal or state law. Likewise, the Employee agrees and understands that he/she may resign from his/her position at the College at any time without providing prior notice.

o The Employee agrees and understands that compensation and benefits shall be distributed as described in the ECCC Policies and Procedures Manual.

o The Employee agrees and understands that he/she may be reassigned at any time during this term of employment to any other position and/or other location as required for the operation of the College. Further, if the Employee is classified Professional Staff as indicated in “Position Category” above, he/she agrees to participate in orientation/registration dates as well as commencement exercises that may fall outside the term of employment of the Employee. o The Employee agrees to satisfactorily perform his/her assigned duties as required by the College in a Job Description maintained by the College; to accept additional assignments that may be made by his/her supervisor; to work in harmony with other employees of the College; and to abide by all policies and procedures of the ECCC District as set forth in the Policies and Procedures Manual. o The employee understands and agrees that his/her compensation as stated in this Staff Salary Record shall be dependent upon the continuing availability of applicable State, Federal, and/or Local Funding. In connection therewith, any and all compensation stated within this Salary Record may be adjusted on a dollar or percentage basis if applicable funds are reduced or eliminated, if student enrollment is reduced, and/or if the Board of Trustees declares a financial exigency. This clause and nothing contained in the Staff Salary Record should be construed to abrogate the Employee’s “ at will ” employment status. o In the event College housing is required of the Employee during the effective term of employment, then the Employee shall occupy the designated college housing during the term of this employment and the Employee agrees to vacate said housing upon termination of employment. The Employee acknowledges that he/she has read and understands all conditions of his/her employment as described above in the Staff Salary Record. APPROVED BY:
