Policy Title: SUMMER CAMPS

East Central Community College recognizes the worth of college-sponsored camps for such activities as band, cheerleaders, sports, various academic-related functions, etc. Plans for such camps shall be approved by the president well in advance. The plans for such camps shall include detailed budgets with all anticipated revenue and expenses and be submitted to the Vice President for Business Operations. All monetary transactions for these events shall be handled through the business office of the College. Twelve-month contracted personnel who serve in any capacity in the development, sponsorship, or supervision of these special camps shall receive remuneration only for time expended beyond the regular working hours of the particular employee. Remuneration for all who work with camps shall be paid on a fixed wage approved at the time of the initial budget submission.
