Policy Title: PHILOSOPHY OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Board of Trustees shall function as a legislative body, developing policies and approving the means by which these policies are to be executed and implemented. The Board of Trustees is responsible for the direction of and delegation of authority to the President for implementation and execution of its policies and decisions. The Board designates the President as its executive officer and chief administrative officer of the College. The Board delegates authority for implementing and executing its policies and decisions to the President and through him to the staff of administrators, faculty, and other employed personnel as delineated in State law.
