Policy Title: FACULTY

The faculty at East Central Community College includes a high percentage of senior members indicating stability in all instructional divisions. New positions created by growth of the College and its programs and replacements for those leaving assure diversity and new ideas. East Central Community College faculty and students shall be free to examine all pertinent data, question assumptions, be guided by the evidence of scholarly research, and teach and study the substance of a given discipline within the context of professional, ethical, and collegial behavior that enhances the mission of the College. The selection and organization of the faculty as established in College policy will reflect these principles.
