• No person through the use of coercion, threats or intimidation shall require or attempt to require any employee to donate his or her leave to another employee. • No employee can donate leave after tendering notice of separation for any reason or after termination of his or her employment. • Donated leave may not be used in lieu of disability retirement. • Administrative and faculty members under contract may only receive donated leave for the length of their contract. • Donated leave only applies to current illnesses/injuries and will cease when the employee returns to work. • In the event the donated leave request is not approved, the employee may appeal the decision according to Policy 713, EMPLOYEE GRIEVANCE AND COMPLAINT PROCEDURES in the College’s Policies and Procedures Manual.
