Policy Title: ENTERPRISE INFORMATION SYSTEM

The College’s Enterprise Information System is the aggregate of four separate information systems. The systems include: • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) consisting of particular Jenzabar EX and Jenzabar One modules; • Student Information System (SIS) consisting of particular Jenzabar EX and Jenzabar One modules; • College Web Portal consisting of MyEC (Jenzabar Integrated Campus Solution, or JICS); and the • Financial Aid Award and Processing System (PowerFAIDS). The College’s Enterprise Information System is modular and includes the following modules associated with divisions administered by Vice Presidents:

Business Operations Accounts Payable (ERP, SIS) Accounts Receivable (ERP, SIS) Employee (ERP) General Ledger (ERP) Payroll (ERP, SIS) Personnel (ERP, SIS) Purchasing (ERP)

Student Services Admissions (SIS) Financial Aid / PowerFAIDS (SIS, ERP) Student Life (SIS)

Instruction Advising (SIS) Registration (SIS) Faculty (SIS)

Public Information Advancement / Alumni Relations (ERP)

The information systems organizational unit within the Office of Information Technology (IT) administers the Enterprise Information System with input from the different module areas to ensure the integration and efficiency of the overall system. Each module will be assigned a Module Manager by the Vice President for that module area.

Responsibilities of the IT information systems unit include but are not limited to:

system implementation;
