MUA 1172 — BRASS FOR MUSIC EDUCATION MAJORS I — This course is the study of brass instruction for music education majors with and advanced non-music majors with an emphasis on brass instrumental playing. Designed to teach the fundamental principles of playing, explore moderate to advanced levels of literature, develop the student’s interest in playing and strengthen the student’s playing ability. Two semester hours credit. MUA 1272 — GUITAR FOR MUSIC EDUCATION MAJORS I — This course is the study of guitar for music education majors with guitar as their area of emphasis. MUA 1411 — CLASS PERCUSSION I — This course is the study of percussion instruction for music majors and non-music majors.
