However, completion of the program does not guarantee that the graduate will be allowed by the State Board of Nursing to take the examination. The State Board of Nursing may refuse any individual the right to take the NCLEX-RN ® based on previous criminal records. All nursing courses must be completed within four years to graduate from the ADN program.
