The Projects ($4,150,000) B radford J. T ucker a pplied T echnology c enTer ($1,900,000) The goal is to upgrade the Bradford Tucker CTE facility to industry standards in order to instruct students for companies in the five-county district and to be competitive in a global market. The training labs (shop setting) are not up to current standards regarding equipment. The building also requires upgrades, especially in the electrical components in order to facilitate newer machinery. The shops also do not currently have HVAC, which makes instruction difficult during specific times of the year. These facility upgrades will better train and provide opportunities for individuals seeking high paying workforce jobs in the five-county area. o vid S. v ickerS f ine a rTS c enTer ($500,000) The Vickers building is the primary fine arts facility on campus and has not had a significant upgrade since its construction. The goal is to upgrade the stage and lighting as well as the entrance of the facility to make it more user-friendly. A portion of the former band hall will be converted into a recording studio in addition to a Collegians practice area. An outside art studio will be created as well. In order to meet the demand for our thriving programs, we need to provide the best spaces possible to accommodate the growth in activity and enrollment. n ewTon h all ($250,000) Technology upgrades to Newton, both in the classrooms and the Thrash Auditorium, will be completed. Upgrades will make the facility both more comfortable and more conducive to learning. An Esports lab will be created for students. This will provide a learning environment that will propel students forward in their academic progress. f ounderS g ym ($1,500,000) Founders Gym is an original building on the ECCC campus. Renovations to the building will enable it to better serve as a multipurpose facility for both academic and community-centered activities. This restoration will allow for usage of the building by college personnel and the five-county district. A new floor will be installed with upgrades to seating. An additional use of the facility will be to house the new women’s volleyball team. This multi-use facility will provide workforce, educational, community, and athletic space to the college and community.
