ECCC CULTURAL ARTS SERIES

Wednesday's piano recital featuring East Central Community College Instructor Dr. Justin Sharp will kick off the second season of the college's Cultural Arts Series. The recital will begin at 1 p.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center on the Decatur campus. Sharp joined the ECCC faculty in August and serves as music/keyboard instructor. He previously served as an adjunct instructor at ECCC, a consultant in the develop– ment of Early Childhood Music Curriculum and as a private piano instructor. The Cul– tural Arts Series began as a way to bring performing artists and visual artists to the campus throughout the year for both EC students and the community, according to Vicki Blaylock, ECCC Fine Arts Department chair.
