Registrationopens for second spring term at East Central DECATUR - It's not too late to register for classes at East Central Community Col– lege for the Spring Intensive Term II session, which begins March 2, and Spring Intensive Term IT online session which begins March 16. The last day to register for traditional classes is Tuesday, March 3. Course offerings on the Decatur campus include Eng– lish Composition I, English Composition II, College Alge– bra and Calculus II. English Composition II will be offered at the Forest/Scott County Career and Technology Center, Leake County Career-Technical Cen– ter and the Philadelphia/Nesho– ba County Career-Technical Center. Online registration ends Friday, March 13. Online classes offered include Nutrition, Human Growth and Development, English Composition II, Career Exploration, College Study Skills, College Algebra, Music Appreciation, Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, Jesus and the Gospels, Intro– duction to Philosophy, General Psychology, Introduction to Sociology, and Marriage and Family. FEBRUARY 4. 2015 Eccc BRIEFS ECCC plans Black History Month program on February 25 DECATUR - East Central Community College will hold its annual Black History Month Program Wednesday, Feb. 25. Activities begin at 7 p.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center auditorium. There is no charge for admission. The Rev. Stan Jones, pastor of Jerusalem Temple in Philadelphia, will serve as guest speaker. Special music will be pro– vided by The Gospel Song Birds ofMeridian. The ECCC Gospel Choir sponsors the Black History Pro– gram and will also perform.
