· wins first band spots Two area students won first chair honors during East Central Community College's District Band Clinic. Cole Atkison (bass), Leake Central High School, and Kaitlyn Morris (oboe), Sebastopol High School, placed in the first band during the 37th annual event. ECCC's Wall O' Sound Band welcomed 206 area students to the two-day clinic which is comprised of first, second and third bands. Activities concluded with a concert in Huff Auditorium. Hunter Corhern serves as ECCC director of bands. Ed Girling serves \ as assistant director of ECCC bands.
